Top Fry Nakuru RFC have topped the ongoing Kenya Cup 2015/2016 season league table after round one of action from past weekend’s fixtures.

Nakuru who bullied University side, Blak Blad 82-0 at their homeground in Nakuru, have started their season on a high note and will be looking forward to maintaining the tempo in their next match against Total Nondescripts this coming Saturday.

Nakuru’s brothers, Kabras Sugar RFC who are placed second could have been first on the table had they not conceded three points from their fixture against Bungoma Sharks in a match that ended 87-3 in their favor.

Generally all the top four sides from the 2014/2015 Kenya Cup season have all managed to take the first four positions with the defending champions, KCB coming in third and last season’s fourth placed Kenya Cup finisher, Strathmore Leos have taken fourth position in the ongoing season.

Kenya Harlequins have been placed fifth after their last minute win against their neighbors, Impala in the past weekend’s highlight match that ended 29-22.

The mighty Quins have completed the list of the sides that achieved bonus points out of scoring more than four tries which made them topple Nondies in the standings though Nondies had more score difference points.

 Nondies had a score difference of eight points after thrashing their Ngong Road neighbor, Menengai Cream Homeboys 20-12 while quins score difference against Impala is seven.

The Red Lion, Nondies come in sixth while Mwamba who managed a 13-9 win over Western Bulls follow at position seven to complete the list of round one Kenya Cup winning sides from last weekend’s action.

Western Bulls, Impala Saracens and Menengai Cream Homeboys then complete the list of the top ten at positions eight, nine and ten respectively.

University side, Mean Machine, Thika RFC, Bungoma Sharks and Blak Blad complete the standings log at positions 11, 12, 13 and fourteen respectively.
