Kenya fifteens have been on a good run this year. The Simbas walloped hosts Zimbabwe in Harare in a Rugby Afrique Division 1 match and before that, they thumped Brazil in an test match and neighbors Uganda in the first leg of the Elgon cup.

Kenya fifteens assistant coach, Dominique Habimana says that they attribute the team's success to the rugby fanatics who support the team.

Coach Habimana hopes the team will continue with the good run of results in the upcoming international assignments.

“We are proud of the current squad who are so dedicated to leaving the Shirt better than they found it. ”

He concluded by saying, “We are thankful for the partnership between KRU and Western Province (SA), especially for the secondment of Jerome Paawater to Kenya fifteens.”
