Resolution Health Impala Saracens are the new George Mwangi Kabeberi sevens champions after a long ten years of wait since they last won a sevens circuit leg at death against Homeboyz after Impala’s captain Lameck Dunde touched down in the sudden death to award his team such a memorable moment.

The last time Impala Saracens won a sevens tournament, it was a Kabeberi sevens as well but ten years back with the likes of Victor Sudi (ex kenyan international player and ex-quins player) won the tournament for Impala.

Impala had tied 14-14 with Homeboyz at full time necessitating a sudden death which they played a well composed game even under huge pressure from the strong boys who stunned them 24-19 in Prinsloo sevens tournament just a week earlier in a heated finals.
