USIU overcame Strathmore University in this year’s edition of Impala floodlit university category beating their rivals 30-20 in the first match of the day on Sartuday.

Strathmore had edged out a strong Blak Blad side while the champions, USIU had overpowered a spirited Mean Machine side in the Semis.

USIU were on top of their game as they led throughout the match. Everything they tried turned magical.

USIU won the title, something they have been fighting for, for a long time as their Thika road neighbors (Blak Blad) have been standing on their way to glory.
