Experienced Kenya Harlequin’s player Willy Ambaka and Top Fry Nakuru’s Oscar Ouma have been included in the Kenya sevens squad to Dubai and Inaugural Cape Town 7s.
Oscar Ouma and Willy Ambaka who have been missing in the Kenya 7s squad since they started playing professional rugby in Sri Lanka and South Africa respectively will be a major boost in the Shujaa squad.
Debutants
Robert Aringo of Impala Saracens, Top Fry Nakuru’s Nelson Oyoo, Jeffrey Oluoch of Menengai Cream Homeboys and Kenya Harlequin’s Frank Wanyama are set to make their debut in the HSBC World Rugby 7s for Kenya 7s in Dubai.
Notable Names missing
Dennis Ombachi will not travel with the Kenya 7s squad to Dubai because he is caught up with graduation commitments.
Kenya sevens captain, Andrew Amonde Opede will be unavailable for the HSBC Word Rugby sevens opener in Dubai due to family commitments and as a result Collins Injera take over the captain’s armband. Amonde lost his sister a few days ago.
Center Oscar Ayodi of Menengai Cream Homeboyz rugby will not feature for Shujaa because of school Commitments.
Kenya sevens will miss the services of Eden Agero who picked an injury during training.
