The Eagles flew high to win the third – forth play-off of Dubai 7s by beating rivals New Zealand in a thrilling match.
Will Holder scored twice, and tries from Folau Niua, Kevin Swiryn and Perry Baker sealed a memorable win for Mike Friday’s side.
The Eagles (USA 7s) made history on day one of Dubai 7s with their first-ever win over New Zealand.
Their second win in day two showed it wasn't a stroke of luck with a second win in as many attempts against Sir Gordon Tietjens's side in the third place play-off.
