29 year old Tim Mikkelson replaces Scott Curry as All Blacks skipper.
Scott Curry picked a shoulder injury in Dubai sevens that will keep him out of action for the rest of the season.

To date, Mikkelson has played in 56 World rugby sevens series tournaments and has scored more tries than any other All blacks 7s player.

The 2013 World Rugby (IRB) Sevens Player of the Year will captain New Zealand 7s for the remaining eight rounds of the HSBC World Rugby sevens series.

Wellington 7s will take place on 30th and 31st of January 2016 and the All Blacks who have had a rocky season sor far, are in a tricky pool A alongside rivals South Africa, Scotland and Russia.
