Kenya Sevens head Coach Benjamin Ayimba handed Alvin Otieno of Menengai Cream Homeboys his World sevens series debut in place of club mate Leonard Mugaisi who will be out for another six weeks.

The pacy Nelson Oyoo of Top Fry Nakuru RFC, Frank Wanyama of Harlequins and Sarries Robert Aringo got a call of duty to carry the flag in the upcoming Hong Kong sevens and Singapore sevens.

The three wise men replace Shujaa heavy machinery; Oscar Ouma, Billy Odhiambo, Dennis Ombachi who sustained minor injuries and are to rest ahead of the upcoming Olympics. Mr. Wisdom himself; Oscar Ayodi alongside fellow Shujaa skippers will hunt under the leadership of the explosive Andrew Amonde as Collins Injera goes all out as his assistant whilst hunting the series all-time top try scorer.
