Kenya Rugby Union CEO, Mr Ronald Bukusi is confident Kenya will display a good performance in the upcoming Elgon Cup, International tests and Rugby Afrique matches.

The Kenya Rugby fifteens team will play against Uganda this weekend in Kampala in the first leg of Elgon Cup.

Kenya will later play against Brazil in an international test match, Zimbabwe and Namibia in a Rugby Afrique match.

Kenya will also host Hong Kong in August where they will play twice in the same week.

“This is an exciting time for us to start over our international fifteens season as we've just done away with the sevens season.”

“We are looking forward to an exciting and engaging time over the next three or four months.”

“This is the start to the journey of the 2019 Rugby World cup qualifiers. There are a lot of things happening in the background.”

“All these are set for preparing our team and structures ready to get into the World Cup Qualifiers which may probably happen next year,” Ronald Bukusi said.
