Kenya fifteens team manager, Simiyu Wangila says that sponsorship and motivation to the Kenya Simba team is lacking. The team needs financial support ahead of its upcoming assignments.
“It is not a walk in the park, we would like sponsors to come on board to assist the Kenya Rugby Football Union because having a team like Kenya rugby fifteens and going by history, we've been improving year in year out.”
The team manager said that it is important for a team to get support when starting and during preparations rather than after a result either good or bad is attained.
“If you want to win and become proud of our boys, support us at the preparation stages and not at the celebration stages.”
“Preparations make things easy. Kenya fifteens has no sponsor at the moment. We require sponsors so that we carry the flags out there and also make you Kenyans proud.”
Wangila appealed to the public, well wishers, potential sponsors and individual sponsors to come on board and assist the fifteens team.
