Nanyuki Jackals head coach Dennis Gem was pleased with KRU’s move to recognize their tournament and add it onto the sevens series calendar.
“This is very good for development of rugby here in Nanyuki. We started building rugby here right from the age grade and women’s rugby too so the Union has made a smart choice to encompass us in the circuit,” said Gem.
Gem also confirmed that they will run an age-grade and a women’s tournament on the Friday before the main event kicks off on the Saturday and Sunday.
