Kenya fifteens captain, Brian Nyikuli led Kenya fifteens in winning the 2016 Elgon Cup title yesterday in a hotly contested match.

Nyikuli hailed his teammates for yesterday's victory over the visiting Uganda side.

“I am proud of the boys for what they have been putting in.”

Losing is not in Nyikuli's dictionary, he said

“When we go to play this games, we tell ourselves we do not want to lose any game.”

Kenya rugby fifteens were humbled recently in Namibia and Nyikuli admits they had a had time dealing with it.

“Coming from a loss in Namibia, it's been a hard one and we had to get our spirits up. I am proud of the boys because we came back, did our work and the cup is back home.”

The captain thanked the fans for the huge turn out at RFUEA, “We thank all the fans for coming, we want to make them happy.”
