Chris Boyd has penned a two year contract extension with Hurricane just a few days after leading his side to a historic Super Rugby win.

The outstanding rugby coach who formerly coached the Lions before joining Hurricanes in 2015, has done a commendable job to the Canes, leading them to two Super Rugby finals that was in 2015 and then in 2016.

The contract extension will the 58 year old coach stay at the Wellington based franchise until 2018.
