Kenya sevens rugby team was brushed aside by Great Britain in their first game at the 2016 Rio Men's rugby Olympic games. in a match played at the Deodoro stadium in Rio, Brazil.
Shujaa's first win target in their second match at the Rio Olympic games against New Zealand went up in smoke as Shujaa struggled through the match to make a comeback but unfortunately went down 28-5 after trailing 14-5 at half time.
The Allblacks who had lost Sonny Bill Williams and Joe Webber in their first match against Japan, did not spare the spirited Shujaa to score fourteen points to five by half time and score two more tries in the second half as Kenya’s talisman Collins Injera had made a touchdown in the first half.

Earlier in the first match, Kenya’s errors were largely to blame right from kick off as the opponents kept on breaching Shujaa’s defence line with Great Britain playing quick to turn over the balls in racks as tackling errors left the opponents to punch their way to the try zone.
Kenya have a daunting task today at 6pm EAT in their final pool match against Japan, a side that beat New Zealand in the first match and then narrowly lost to Great Britain 19-17 in their second match.
