Kenya fifteens assistant coach Dominique Habimana was delighted with his team's performance against Hong Kong that was played at the Impala Grounds earlier this week.
Kenya started the match against Hong Kong on the wrong foot, trailing to the visitors in the first few minutes of the game before Michael Agevi drilled home a penalty to reduce the points difference.

At half time, Habimana told the boys to believe in themselves and believe in what it takes. This seemed to pay off for the team as they bounced back in the second half at at some point lead 24-11 and evetually won 24-18.

Speaking about the win, Habimana said, “It is a win of hope because we had the young boys who are coming in the system and they are giving us a lot of hope for the future.”

“Our future is bright because these are the guys who will take us to the World Cups and to the next level of rugby.”

Kenya will face Hong Kong this weekend at the RFUEA in an international test match.
