Mean Machine skipper Shadon ‘Shaddy’ Munoko is in line for his national sevens team debut this weekend when Kenya takes on Vancouver sevens pool B rivals Fiji, Samoa and hosts Canada in the sixth leg of the HSBC sevens series.
The forward departed for Canada on Tuesday night to join Shujaa in Canada as Brian Wandera replacement.
Wandera picked a knock in Vegas forcing KRU to plan his inclusion alongside half back Johnstone Olindi who joined the team earlier on Sunday March 3rd.
Olindi was part of the initial 12-man squad but was left behind following Visa complications.
Munoko joined Shujaa set up last season having featured for Kenya Morans in the 2018 Safari sevens where Morans beat Spain 12-5 to finish third.
Olindi made his debut this season and has only missed the Vegas leg. In his absence Daniel Taabu and Vincent Onyala acted in full capacity.
