World Rugby coach Educator Nicholas Aballa is celebrating his birthday today. The former Kenya Rugby Union Age grade and Women Rugby coordinator coached Kenya U18 seven aside team that won Nile 7s in Uganda and was also the team manager of Kenya U19 in 2014 that lost in the finals to Namibia in Windhoek.
 
During his tenure Aballa established the Women 7 a side, 10 a side, 15 a side franchise and was in the fore front in pushing Kenya Secondary School Sports Association to incorporate Girls Rugby 7s in its calendar.
 
Before end  of his contract with Kenya Rugby Union, Aballa was working with NOC-K Youth Elite camps programs as one of  NOC-K Youth Elite Coaches.
 
Aballa was one of the delegates in 2018 in Gaborone Bostwana together with delegates from Tunisia, South Africa, Uganda, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Bostwana, Zambia, Senegal, and Namibia who pushed for Women World  Rugby 15 a side qualifiers to beheld in Africa for Africa teams instead of the teams going for qualifiers in Asia.
