The Main cup final drama couldn’t get better as top guns England and South Africa faced each other. This was quite a nervy match as there was no favorite winner. There was nothing between them as the half time score was 7-7.
England’s Captain Mitchell lead the troops to a 21-14 win and carry the Tokyo sevens Main cup. This was England’s first Cup since Wellington 2013 and the first for Coach Simon Amor.
South Africa still top the world rugby sevens ranks with 129 points.
Congratulations to England for winning the 2015 Tokyo sevens Main cup Title.
