The Deejays started the match on a high tempo as they applied pressure on KCB’s defense in the first five minutes. Fullback Darwin Mukidza gave KCB RFC an early lead with just 11 minutes into the game with a well drilled penalty.
Oliver Mangeni extended KCB’s lead with three minutes shy from half time with a brilliant try. Darwin Mukidza conversion was not successful. The sides went into the break KCB leading 8-0.
The lions took from where they left in the first half, Mukidza was at it again as his penalty kick was good.
Homeboyz RFC’s Prop, Elfas Etemesi was yellow carded in the 58th minute. This had an impact on the game as a few minutes later ,Kenya cup’s top scorer, Curtis Lilako scored KCB’s second try to stretch the lead to 16-0.
Elly Mukaisi who started from the bench,came in and had an impact on the game as he scored the lions third try. The deejays trailed 21-0 as Mukidza missed the conversion.
Essau otieno sealed KCB’s win with a last minute try and Mukidza’s conversion was good.
KCB Edged out Homeboyz RFC 28-0 to be crowned the 2015 Enterprise cup Champions.
