Kenya 15s head coach Jerome Paarwater named a strong squad that will face Spain in an international test match at the RFUEA grounds in Nairobi Kenya.

Jerome Paarwater made few changes from the squad that hammered Tunisia recently at the same venue. Injured Kenya Harlequins fly half, Lyle Asiligwa has been replaced by Kabras’ halfback Edwin Achayo who has come from a long term Injury. Young star Montari replaces KCB’s Fabian Olando.

Strathmore Leo’s flanker, Brian Nyikuli retains the captain’s armband.

Starting :
Moses Amusala,Sammy Warui, Isaiah Nyariki,Oliver Mang’eni,Ronnie Mwenesi,Brian Nyikuli (Captain), Michael Okombe,Joshua Chisanga, Edwin Achayo, Sammy Oliech, Jacob Ojee, Kelvin Omiyo, Samuel Montari, Darwin Mukidza and Vincent Mose.

Subs :
Peter Karia,Curtis Lilako,Davis Chenge, Wilson Kopondo,Robert Aringo, Lawrence Buyachi, Dennis Muhanji and Isaac Adimo.

Spain are currently ranked 19th in the world rugby rankings while Kenya are eleven positions a drift at 30th.

Having won their recent matches against Tunisia in an Africa cup tie and Portugal in an International test match, Simba XVs are optimistic of positive results in this tricky fixture.

A win against Spain on Saturday shall see Kenya rise on the current world rugby rankings.

This is the squad that will face Tunisia on Saturday 18th July 2015 at the RFUEA grounds.

The match will be officiated by Greg Garne. Mr Raymond Oruo and Amos Wamanga will be the assisting officials.

Simba’s Team manager said they will use the same razor they used to slice Tunisia, to slice Spain.

“Of course there is pressure for us as a team, our country and the fans. We will fight.” Captain Brian Nyikuli concluded.
