Murray Roulston was appointed by the Kenya Rugby Union as Kenya fifteens assistant coach on 12th April 2018.

Murray announced his resignation on 28th June 2018 at RFUEA Grounds after team naming for the Simbas squad to face Zimbabwe on 30 June 2018.

He resigned exactly 2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days after taking the job due to pending payments.

Murray has coached at International level, Rugby Super 15 level as well as New Zealand Provincial level for over 20 years.
