The director of KRU media and communications, Mr. Ian Mugambi was very pleased with how Simba XVs have performed this year.
Kenya XVs registered wins against European giants Portugal and Spain in International test matches played at the RFUEA. They also beat Tunisia in a Rugby Afrique tie played at the same venue and Uganda Cranes in the Elgon cup first leg encounter.
Simba XVs lost away at Harare to Zimbabwe and then lost a match a week later in the second leg Elgon Cup tie to Uganda in Kampala.

Namibia hosts Kenya on 8th August 2015 at Windhoek Namibia in an Africa cup division 1A match.
