The tournament underdogs, Japan continued with their good run of results after beating France in the Men's rugby Olympic medal Quarter finals played at the Deodoro Stadium in Rio de Janiero.
The Japanese who upset Kenya sevens Rugby team in their final pool match, found themselves on the back foot (7-0 ) at the half time after Cler gave France the lead and Bouhraoua converted.
Japan came into the second half roaring, scoring two tries through Tuqiri and Goto while their fly half Lameki managed make one successful conversion to end the match at 12-7.
Japan will have an uphill task today as they will face tournament favorites, Fiji in the medal semi final that will be played at 8:30pm East Africa time.
