There will be a minute of silence observed in all Nationwide, Eric Shirley shield, Championship and Kenya Cup matches that will be played on 10th December 2016 in honor of the late Ogeto Gecheo.
Ogeto Gecheo passed away on Tuesday, 6th December 2016 at Aga Khan Hospital after succumbing to a spinal injury he picked while playing for Nondies against Strathmore Leos.
“We will observe a Minute Silence before all kick offs to remember and honor Ogeto Gecheo of Nondescripts RFC who passed away on Tuesday , 6th December 2016” a statement from Kenya Rugby Union read.
