Kenya sevens started off the day in good spirits by thrashing Japan 24-12 in the early morning hours. This match saw Collins Injera score his 200th career try in the world rugby sevens series. His celebration stole the show.
Shujaa got the keys to Bowl Finals after thrashing Samoa 38-7 in the Bowl Semis final. Felix Totty’s side remains unbeaten to Samoa this year. The sides have met four times and Shujaa have won in both occasions.
Next up was Argentina Los Pumas in the Bowl Finals. This was quite a tricky fixture as Kenya had only beaten Argentina once in the last 5 meetings. This could not stop Team Kenya as they overcame the Argentines 26-12 at the final whistle.
Kenya bagged 8 points as they were crowned the 2015 London sevens Bowl Winners.
